I don't know if oil viscosity could be the cause of your problems but don't assume the dealer gave you the right viscosity. My dealer put in 5w30 in my engine when they should have used 0w20. I only caught their mistake after looking closely at the invoice. Lesson learned... don't assume anything and question everything.
