I hear you! I was so in love with my 2011 550 and then the upgraded one 2014 model, but this feels and handles sooo much better! Can't wait till it's broken in so I can have more fun with it.
As far as tracking, I've learned that tracking VIN (whenever it's available) is far more up-to-date than the production number.
How's your experience with car play? Mine isn't vary reliable and I quit using it after 2 weeks. In fact, I like iDrive interface better.
