Take what Chris says with a grain of salt. They do not know their own products and try to sell something before verifying. Had huge issues with their "flashing tool" on my M2C. My local BMW dealership no longer deals with them, and I'm not surprised. They used to be a Carbahn dealer.
From Chris' email to me last year - copy pasted:
"We match the new car warranty only not the CPO. However many miles/moths you have remaining is what we match."
How would Chris know if the extended warranty covers the powertrain? If I'm a warranty company and send someone to inspect the car and see a tune - there's no way that's something that gets covered. Even Chris' company does not warranty it past the initial warranty - why would an extended company?
