Change oil when Svc Monitor says to
I have always followed the service monitors instructions and have NEVER had an engine issue, 1 car had 220.000 miles on it before I gave it away and I have an 07 with 170,000 and neither one ever used oil!
Did notice with wife's diesel it only went 8500 miles before 1st oil change, whereas the gasoline models went almost twice as far before service.
