Which app you need sort of depends on plan. I am told that only head-unit (ie HU_NBT2) coding is supported on G012/G030 right now in Bimmercode. And, ASD is separate module. So, not sure if Bimmerlink supports ASD, but it may as it is not a new ECU (same one used in M4).
I think you can download for free, but must then purchase to actually code. So, you may be able to download and see what is supported. I do not own any apple products, so hopefully someone else can chime in with further details.
