Did you put a spacer for the sensor to get rid of the CEL or you have a CEL?

I was running catless. Way too loud on the cold start, that's why I took it off.
May go with catted route. But need to do one more test beforehand.
I use O2 Sim, which was working for a few months until dealership was working on a recall on the fuel temperature sensor. |
I have the stock exhaust with the resonator delete but I want just a little more sound.
I think the catted downpipe might be what I'm after. I just want a little more sound when I go wide open throttle.
I test drove a 540I with MPE & thought it sounded amazing except on the highway cruising speed it would be a continuous hummmm almost like drone to me.
Keep me updated once you get the catted downpipe.
