Thanks for the kind words! I test drove the 540, and like others have said, it really is "enough" - it does have decent acceleration at normal cruising speeds. Although, I did have to laugh when the first thing the CA did was put it in Sport. I'm sure many people wouldn't have noticed, but I did.
That said, when I got my 550i onto the Autobahn for the first time, it was 'Holy Moley'! In Comfort, and not even trying to push it, you could tell that beast just wanted to go!
