It took me a while to realise that - compared to all the previous/older BMWs I have had - 'auto' is not simply 'auto' on the G30... there are five 'fan strength' settings even when in auto mode.
Make sure it is at least in the middle or higher.

Thank you for the advice! Usually it's set up to 1 or 2, so I'll try a higher setting.
Although, My M4 had the same settings, but never had fogging issue.
