Cold start with valves open is LOUD. Get the BimmerLink app and you'll enjoy opening the valves the second you leave your neighborhood.
I'm really amazed how much dynamic range is available with this midpipe and the stock axle back. I think the exhaust is more than 15% louder with valves open and a fraction of that with valves closed.

Does bimmerlink keep the exhaust valves open 100% of the time? I know the mapping closes the exhaust valves at various gears/rpm.
Also do you have to keep the app open to keep the valves open?
