All things being equal, when I pull the trigger on a downpipe I think I'd go with the very well reviewed evolution racewerks high flow 200 cell catted downpipe which is even available in 3 different finishes (brush, polish, or ceramic thermal coat black). Additionally, the catalyst is metallic instead of the lesser quality ceramic. Most all the joys of catless without the stench or check engine light.

Evolution Racewerks downpipe is top-notch quality. That being said the Eddy pipe is a different product for a different market.
ER downpipe might throw a CEL, Eddy downpipe guarantees no CEL.
If you car is tuned and your tune hides the CEL, get Evolution Racewerks. If that's not the case, your better off getting an Eddy pipe or something similar (Active Autowerke or CG Precision)
