You can also get the istep version if you back up your driver profiles from the I drive to a USB key.
Open the file up and buried in there will some text with the istep.
I think this is only accurate though if you are sure you have not had any updates since the car was new.
Most of the file will be unreadable but the istep version is clearly human readable
