Similar situation in Sweden, Bonus/Malus tax after 1-Jul-2018 makes it worthwhile having a PHEV, but main problem is the size of our countries.

I commute 60-65 km one-way daily, and current 46-50 km range (NEDC) is in reality 2/3 of that. If a new battery - on paper - has an extended distance of 60+ km it's better, but still too short. Range now in winter time is not more than 20 km at best, so more ePower...

Best encouragement is to see in BMW Connected that in soon 40,000 km I've driven 12,000 km on electricity and saved 500 L of gas.
