So on the F90 M5 shifter the "S" is not for sports mode, it is for sequential. AKA, paddle shifting that DOES NOT revert to regular auto shifting. Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ are configured using the M Mode Configuration menu (and can be programmed to M1 and M2 buttons).
