The only benefit of Apple Car play over iDrive so far
1. I am able to brpwse easily through my playlists of spotify and Apple iMusic as shown omn my phone or go to discover or browse lists instead of using the phone to do so,
2. Siri reads and sends the messages i recieve.
Maps is not an issue as i use idrive maps even if its connected on carplay. thats not an issue.
The things i dont like
1. Cant use voice commands for telephone. idrive voice commands are much better improvement. But with time i am getting used to siri.
2. Phone quality with carplay at the moment is sub par with lots of distortion. I wonder why it is happening.
3. The song graphics displayed on screen are not comming perfect all the time. it seems theres some sort of connectivity issues.
4. AS of 10.3.1 update carplay connection is getting lost once i return to car. I dont know whats going on.
