I want to do a chrome delete on my 540i and prefer gloss black vs carbon fiber. Wrapping is obviously the cheapest option (from the quote I have received) but I am concerned about how it will hold up.

The wrap is been holding up pretty good on the door handles but not so much on the roof. With really cold weather up here, I went in a drive through touch-less car wash and it ripped away part of the wrap on the roof. The paint protection film however is been holding up very well.
