I just do not buy 15,000 mile oil changes. That goes against what I have been taught or accustomed to when it comes to car maintenance. And from the discussions on this board from people who have owned multiple BMWs, raced or built cars, and have much more experience with this, they seem to agree. The 1200 mile break in service WAS recommended prior to BMW's free maintenance.
This is a great thread and I think I will follow that maintenance schedule with my 135.
