Well, that's not exactly true. They've done things like remove the nifty compact hinge system on the trunk and gone back to a cheap conventional system. They've changed the door handles from flush to protruding, etc.
We'll see. It's still a forward weight biased Audi that weighs a couple hundred lb. more than a 3 series. Lap times and acceleration are one thing. Fun to drive factor is another.
