That black cap were the cable goes through the floor, has a 13mm nut on it, and is very prone to corroding. Remove the cable and clean the terminal, and post. Replace if necessary.
Then clear all codes and see what comes back. You'd be surprised what a little corrosion will cause on these cars.

anyone figure out a way to avoid this from happening ? maybe adding some extra sealant ? water got into my trunk on my first m3, would hate for it to happen again.
