Thanks for the reply. I think your idea of getting the Canadian Play Store app for BMW connected would work. However if I change my Play Store around on my Android phone I cannot change it back for one year. Look
"You can only change your Play country once per year. So if you change your country, you won’t be able to change it back for one year" that don't make sense. I need to find another way to download the APK of the Canadian connecteddrive app.
