All of that said, Azurite Black is an incredible color and for me was absolutely worth the wait!

Around Labor Day 2016 when I ordered an F30 340i M Sport with Tanzanite Blue from the Munich factory, it was similar production lead time to what gooselee states for the M550i because they batch process the individual colors. I received the car mid-December and it was definitely worth the wait and the extra $. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I didn't like a standard color. Didn't do it for my G30 540i because I wanted Mediterranean Blue.
