I second what 540iSUP said regarding changing the pads yourself. If you're not changing calipers, it's a really simple job. Here are the steps:

1. Park vehicle on firm level ground. Do not engage parking brake.
2. Break lugs loose on one rear wheel, but do not remove.
3. Jack up the rear corner and support with a jack stand for safety.
4. Remove lugs and wheel.
5. Remove pad wear sensor if present (wire that clips directly onto back of brake pad) and position out of the way.
6. Push/pull on rear caliper to seat the piston and create space to remove from rotor.
7. Remove two caliper bolts from the backside of the caliper. (have something to hang the caliper on to avoid putting pressure on the brake lines. An old wire coat hanger works well. Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake lines.)
8. Remove the old pads and the anti-rattle/vibration clips and replace with new pads/clips in the same orientation. Use an approved brake lubricant on the clips and pad surfaces that make contact with the calipers. Do not get any on the surface of the new pads. Hang to the side on your improvised hanger.
9. Remove the small torx screw holding the rotor on and remove rotor. Using a large mallet, smack the rotor to free it from the hub. Try not to damage the rotor if you plan on reusing. If you already purchased new rotors, you can just smack your old one with a 3-pound sledge and it will come right off. If reusing the old rotors, take them to a trusted automotive repair shop for turning. They will make sure the rotors are resurfaced and true to maximize performance with the new pads. They'll also ensure that the rotor is within BMW minimum thickness specifications.
10. Reinstall new/refurbished rotors on hub. (a dab of anti-seize on the hub mating surface will ensure the rotos are easier to get off next time) Tighten small torx screw.
11. Make sure new pads on the caliper are fully seated (to create maximum space and slide fully assembled caliper onto the rotor. Tighten two bolts from the back side.
12. Reinstall brake pad wear sensor if previously removed. No need to bleed the brake system since you did not introduce air into the lines.
13. Remount wheel and tighten lugs until very snug.
14. Safely lower vehicle and then torque lugs to spec.
15. Repeat procedure on other side.
16. Pump the brakes while stationary to ensure a firm pedal. Test brakes at slow speeds in a safe area. If everything feels normal, complete the break-in procedure and operate the vehicle as normal.
