I agree the refresh is a 2021 model but would be interesting if the 540 did get more torque.I just didn't see the MY 2020 740 get any improvements on its B58.
On a lighter note the MY2020 740 B58 will most certainly breathe better with the low key gigantic grills. |
MY2020 7 series did get the M1 version of the B58. Maybe no torque increase over M0 but BMW likes the M1 version because it's supposedly less costly to produce and has a bit more room for power improvement. Toyota was heavily involved in the M1 improvements as part of the Supra project.
