Don’ t think this is related to the bumper or the grill shutters.
I tend to agree with highlandpete as two Independent dealers have confirmed the problem. The key issue is the wheel assembly interacting in an adverse way with the suspension. This explains why the problem keeps coming back even after a full alignment/ optimization of the car. My vibrations were gone until I swapped back to summertyres.
The director of the Company that I’m Working for have also had the problem. Several alignments, balancing etc. didn’t help until the dealer replaced the tyres with RFT contisport which removed the problem. Conclusion, oppose to others the RFT’s has had a damping affect on the resonans in his case.
