Finally had a warm enough day to take another stab at mounting the roof spoiler. Not only is it few millimeters off regarding the curve matching the window, it also has a slight twist in it.

Attempt number 2:
1. Double up the 3M tape on the outer 8-10".
2. Use 3M Silane glass adhesion promototer.
3. Add weight at the ends for as long as possible, which will be about 18 hours before I have to leave for work in the morning. This should net estimated at least 80% bond strength, per 3M's doc.

Here's a pic of my janky weighting system. lol. Don't worry, those tool boxes aren't super heavy. Probably 35lbs, give or take, total between all the crap pile on top that board, of which probably 90% is resting directly over the spoiler. Any residual weight is spread out over the 2x4s. So, the roof will be just fine. Wish I could add more weight, even, since 3M recommends 15psi pressure to fully adhere the tape. ...but this will have to do.
