I think that says more about the true power and potential.

I mean in the race agains bugatti, the top speeds are very much dependant on how the situation is, if they do 2 or 1 run etc.
But that 0-400-0kmh where koenigsegg obliterated the Bugatti Chiron with 6 seconds or so (on a 42 sec time) in 2017(?) said so much more and showed so much more difference. And Koenigsegg improved on that time 2 times later again, setting it to under 32 seconds, so 10 sec. or about 33% faster than the original Chiron time
Of course we don't know what a current Chiron can do now on that run but my guess it that they will never try that again

Of course track laptimes would also be very interesting, but my guess is that some of these cars will get beaten by other cars costing less than 20% (like radicals for instance and other models than lean more to racecar tech)
