Punctured tire
A nail has punctured my rear tire today, I called the dealer to enquire about the availability of the tire and they said its not in stock and should be ordered and it will take 20 days, while i found the exact same tire michelin pilot super sport 275/35 zr19 but without the star mark which indicates that the tire was specifically made for this car, just to be more clear both tires have the same specs but one is for all cars and the other (oem) is specially made for bmw.
Should i replace with the available tire or order the specific tire(oem) from dealership, and what is the difference between those two tires or is it simply marketing ??
