I have bluestone myself and think this is such a nice colour. As it's name suggests there is blue present but look closer and there is a grey metallic undertone in there and indeed under certain light conditions it can appear more grey than blue. But it is lighter shade and stands out.
it's one of those colours you have to see in person, the sales literature does not portray it accurately at all, not even close .

One of the biggest limitations with BMW is the extremely limited colour choices for M-aSport. It’s either white, blue, black a few different shades of grey.
Volvo on the other hand offer a palette of imaginative colours which include Pine, Burgendy, Champagne and baby blue.
Bluestone is terrific colour though and is at the top of my list.
