I found traces of blue powder which was evaporated coolant in the engine bay (left side plastic tray underneath the 2 reservoirs), and later on drips of coolant onto the ground whenever I stopped the vehicle (also on the left side of the front bumper just under the left front air vent). That was the ultimate sign which I rang BMW and told them to pick it up and dont give me more BS excuses. I used paper towel to dab on the puddle to confirm it was blue and took videos and photos to show them as well.
It would have costed me around $3000 for the fix according to the work summary left in my car which was covered by BMW warranty. |
I did saw green powder on hosing (very very little) but no drip on the grounds, will definitely keep an eye on this...
