I assume the manual is geared differently on the Crosstrek like anything else, so that could be a possibility, but even so I cannot figure the point of redlining a Crosstrek to 6500 rpm.

My '19 has CVT and honestly it gets to 6100rpm and when it shifts drops to 5100 rpm and continues to do that
The reason to get it in that range is to get all of its hp. The engine supposedly puts down 140+ whp
