What has that guy done?!
Unless you can find someone knowledgeable on all of the settings it may be worth just taking it to the dealers with your tail between you legs and ask to have the latest I step applied to get you back to a known condition. You will have to pay for this as this won't be under warranty.
You might be able to code values back but if you are not sure what has been done there may be other values adrift as well that may cause issues later.
Hopefully bmw will not make a big deal out of this.
