It's not in BMW's best interest to leave anyone high and dry. That said, the first month or two of a new model year isn't the best time for incentives.
MY21 was scheduled to start in July but we should know within the next 4-6 weeks if that changes. There is also the possibility that they push MY21 production out because of lags in the supply chain but I'm only guessing here. No one knows for sure since this isn't something anyone has had to deal with before.
