Honestly I think it's a stupid Hallmark Holiday. If you love someone you should show them appreciation all year long, maybe a bit more for Valentine's like something small to remind them you care, but these people who go all out for V-Day is kind of hilarious. I think cooking your significant other a special meal or making their life easier for the day makes a lot more sense than what some people spend.
I'm guessing YOU won't be celebrating March 14th?

I have to agree though. I would rather be treated nicely during the year with random flowers, or a card for no reason than some nonsense on VD Day.
