The image of the frozen falls above reminded me of one of mine taken a couple of years ago.

Linn Falls, Aberlour, Speyside at -16C.
The caramel colour of the ice on the falls is due to the Lour Burn being quite rich in peat.
The Falls are a few hundred metres above Aberlour Distillery and it is from this burn that the distillery extracts its water. The water is said to contribute to the unique and beautiful taste of Aberlour Single Malt Whisky.
