I was wondering if there might be some other F30 enthusiasts in the Akron, OH area who'd be interested in helping bring to life a sunroof delete kit, or potentially some other new performance parts.

I've been trying to find a carbon fiber sunroof delete/filler panel for the F30 chassis, and my search led me to ECS Tuning. It seems no one has released one yet, but while searching, an ECS rep suggested I reach out to their R&D department to see if it's something they'd be interested in developing. Turns out they are interested - and it seems they're amenable to other potential projects as well. They asked when I could bring my car in to do some scanning/measurements, etc... which is great, except that I'm 6+ hours away.

Hopefully there are some others out there who'd be interested, and are perhaps much closer to allow ECS to take the necessary measurements in person.
