ive used the 24-70 as a walkaround and have nothing but good things to say. In low light its excellent, but it is a bit heavy (you know that)
the 24-105 is pretty good, but not nearly as good in low light...so while you do give up 35mm on the far end, you get some fantastic low light performance and dof
