What makes you think he told the dealer what payment he wanted?
Unlike Hawaii where there is only 1 dealer per Island, on the mainland you can approach BMW multiple Dealers, give them exactly what you are asking for, ask them to price it out and have them tell you what monthly payments they can get for you.
Then easy to compare as to who has the best deal. So the rest of the info is basically not needed (unless one is looking to purchase after a lease).
