Hey everyone,been lurking for quite awhile trying to decide between an X3M or M550i. Drove both and settled on a 2020 Carbon Black M550i. Loved the X3M but after having multiple lumbar&cervical spine fusions I was more comfy in the 550i. Took delivery 10 days ago.
Love the car,my wife does as well. During the test ride I knew once she mashed the throttle the deal was done! Plan on doing a tune and that's it lol. I'll be getting a Dragy as well as hitting the drag strip for private rentals come spring time.
Grew up drag/street racing motorcycles,have a couple of fast turbo bikes in the garage. Also had a bunch of AMG's in the past. Was the 1st person to break into the 11's in a stock E63 back in '07 and held that title for a long time at 11.95@118.5mph so I'm not new to drag racing cars as well. But I've definitely slowed down in my old age lol
Anyways,enough babbling....I'm glad to be part of the forum
