They do limit something electronically... 99% positive
In my F10 before the stated 1,000 mile run in, it never really felt as though it was giving full acceleration and power (even after resetting kick down etc.)... then suddenly it was a different car...
The same feel with my G30, it's nice but I can tell it is reined in... I'll confirm this in ±500 miles
