Regardless of what you want to call it ....let's just say " annihilate" to please all the trolls here.... Its just so hard to believe a 3800 lbs GM anything can put 0.5 seconds on a proper road course against a state of the art 3000 lbs 991GT3.
I call GM BS ....like that ignition starter fire recall....GM lies.
And the driver in that article happens to be GMs World Challenge Cadillac driver.
I just read the article again to make sure , but you have it backwards , the GT3 was .5 seconds faster than the Z28 . Those Trofeo R's are frigging amazing esp in a 305 square setup . The driver complained of a lot of tread squirm in the GT3 tire and again mentioned how much grip the Z28 had in the corners ( tire) . So the fact the 911 still one on inferior tires is impressive .
