So I thought that iOS 13 with its new carplay updates would fix the issue I am having... not the case... may be someone can make a suggestion on how to fix this...

IPhone 10, iOS 13, 2018 M550, iDrive6, CarPlay.

Waze only provides sound alerts when I am navigating with Waze... when Waze is just up on my CarPlay screen, I get silent pop ups on the iDrive but no sound.
So I searched online for various suggestions and did not find too much... also checked sound setting in the Waze app and sound is set to alerts only...

Any suggestions, please?
