They were unable to confirm fitment/functionality even though I am pretty sure it’s just plug and play. Some catalogs even showed fitment with the 2021 m550.
Anyway I decided to look for the button instead of the whole housing, was going to order from Amazon but saw your posts! How is the autotecknic one holding up thus far? OEM look, quality, feel? I try to veer as far away from adding non OEM upgrades/parts to my car but this seems identical from your pic.

We share the same sentiment on using all OEM parts if possible. This was a slight exception for me because you can't buy just the OEM button as you know and changing out the entire unit just for a red button wasn't going to happen.
I can tell you that all of the red buttons I tried through Amazon and Autotecnik were of the exact same quality and fit and feel as the OEM black one I removed. Trust me, I studied both of them side by side. The writing and font was spot on. For some reason, the Amazon option hiccuped just a tad on release after push. I am sure 90% of people out there would not have noticed it and I am positive if the car came with this hiccup I would not second guess it, but my black one did not do it. The Autotecnik one works perfectly and has held up just fine. Super easy install too. It's a nice touch.
