Well, I misread the confirmation text that they sent me since they ran out of characters. It turns out they were talking about my vehicle and not the loaner car.
Oh well. They gave me a '20 X5. I can finally say I don't really care for iDrive 7 for many of the same reasons others have stated. Way too much going on and too difficult to see RPMs and the speedometer when you're used to the '19 M550i layout.
