Hello everyone!
I'm currently cross shopping between an X5 and XC90 and during the X5 test drive, the sales rep informed me the maps/traffic info on the US Spec X5 will not work here in Korea. Ok, kind of annoying, but not a dealbreaker.
So, while I won't be able to use the HUD for navigation, I could always use APC instead and still benefit off the center screen...right? Well, the dealer just informed me that APC will also not work while it's here in Korea, either!
I get it, I'm not in the US, but this really makes me reconsider spending $90K while not being able to use either of the two functions for about 2 years! I'd like to at least use a luxury feature in a luxury vehicle
! Does anyone have any experience with this? While I know it is true for the maps, does ACP also not work outside of the US for a US Spec vehicle? If so...that Volvo is starting to look a little more enticing.
