Don't want to sidetrack this but Doug wasn't going out of his way to make the brand look bad. It's pretty clear he loves it despite it's poor reliability. Here's a good article he did about how the brand still sells despite poor reliability;

Hardly sounds like a guy that has it out for the brand. When so many owners have complaints and several reliability studies rate a brand as unreliable the reality is that the brand doesn't produce vehicles as reliable as the rest of the industry. Anecdotal evidence provided by a small handful of owners that got good ones isn't going to change that.
