F1 is, and should always be THE premiere motorsport formulae with massive innovation at it's core.
As noted by multiple posts in this thread, F1 historically has had dominant teams that succeeded for periods of time.

Then have fun complaining that it's boring and being excited about 2 guys battling for P17.
I never said anything about spec power units. I said reduce their dependence on aero. 2 cars cannot RACE each other closely because all of their grip goes away in dirty air. Most passes are just via DRS.
I'll go watch endurance racing where the margin of victory is less than a minute after 24hrs.
