Not to my knowledge. I've had tunes on all of my BMWs (and MBs) and never had an issue. I actually returned my 550i a few years back with the Dinan tune in tact and the dealer took it for a test drive just to enjoy the power before they uninstalled it. Having said that, that was the first (and only) time I forgot to remove the tune prior to returning the car -- I highly recommend returning the car in stock form at the end of the lease.
