My search for a winter beater has brought me to Roanoke. Well, Troutville to be exact. Dealer there has a 2005 330xi super low miles. Awesome, right? Not so awesome that I am in Philadelphia.

Guy won't take the car to a local BMW dealer for PPI. Anyone know a good mechanic in the area to send to the lot for a PPI?

Lacking that - anyone in the area who sort of knows what they're looking for that could check it out for me?

I'd hate to pass on the car but I cannot just buy it based on what limited info the seller is providing himself.
