I just completed this for my 2018 g01 X3 and it was seamless and worked perfectly. CarPlay in full screen is fantastic!
Purchase was simple and install was simple. The most difficult aspect of the entire process was finding a windows laptop with an Ethernet/Cat5 connection to hook up the ENET cable.
I had one question about the OS version I needed for my laptop and the response was super quick! Throughly impressed and highly recommend!
