What I know for a fact is that every 10 degrees makes a difference in power delivery, so if you're sucking up the hottest air in the engine bay, it doesn't matter if you get more of it. Your car will start pulling timing, especially in the summer time if it gets hot where you're at.
But it sits in the same position in the bay as the stock box.
It just has you leave off the top cover.
Wouldn’t it be sucking the same air as the stock box?
