Watched live on the local news yesterday one of the roads in southern Maryland first get blocked by a huge fallen tree. Then the road got washed out by the adjacent river. The news crew was warning the drivers not to cross. After the tree was pulled out of the way, a few cars decided to go. The semis and trucks made it through fine. SUVs were iffy. But two idiots in sedans decided to make a go. One made it. The other got stuck. Wonder how that will work when the idiot files an insurance claim.
The same channel cut to a water rescue where they had to pull someone out of a car. I really wonder the level of intelligence of these people.
